How To Get Higher When Smoking

A common problem with smokers today is the strong tolerance built up over many years of smoking. Everyone knows a tolerance break can help you get higher, but did you know it’s not the only way to get higher smoking weed? I’m going to share with you three easy ways you can enhance your high today!

Exercise

Studies show that running releases cannabinoids in both humans and dogs. It’s one of the many reasons why exercise is so enjoyable for us and lowers our stress levels. This is good news for us smokers who have excess cannabinoids stored in our body.

We all know that THC is the psychoactive ingredient in cannabis. It’s the compound that actually gets us high. You also probably know that THC is stored in within our adipose tissue, or fat. When we burn fat our bodies initiates a reintoxication process by releasing fat stored THC into the blood. It works so well that fasting, eating no food, enhances this process further.

Next time you have no weed and want your fix, try running some sprints. Or better, run sprints while smoking to enhance your high. Or even better, run sprints while fasting and smoking for the ultimate THC release.

Fruits

I mentioned how fasting enhances your high, but what foods can do the same trick? The answer is mangoes. Mangoes are full of myrcene, a terpene that increases the saturation of the CB1 receptors. Myrcene also interacts with THC allowing it to take effect faster and much stronger. Smokers looking to enhance their high are recommended to eat a fresh mango 45 minutes before inhaling cannabis.

In addition to mangoes, oranges, lemons, and pretty much all citrus fruits have similar effects when combined with THC. Try your favorite fruit next time you have a smoke sesh. Be sure to let us know the results!

Agmatine

Now that we’ve discussed fasting and food, let’s talk about other alternatives. We did extensive research regarding which supplements enhance the effects of weed, and the clear winner here is agmatine.

How does agmatine work? Well it’s literally a neurotransmitter, and it seems to potentiate the effects of nearly all drugs that interact with the serotonin and dopamine systems. Due to these effects it’s often considered an anti addictive, lowering the withdrawal effects of some drugs while providing neuroprotective benefits for many parts of the brain, especially the dopamine system.

Most of the agmatine evidence specific to cannabis is anecdotal, but we have patients that swear by it. Although very few tests have been done on humans, it’s considered a safe supplement and the results are promising. Those of you who have had little luck in lowering your tolerance should definitely give it a shot.
